Who We Are

Asyus (pronounced "uh-SIGH-us") was incorporated in May 2009 in Monte Sereno, CA. Our founder, Ethan Agarwal, wanted to create a service to help people find the cheapest price for any product they want.

We looked around at the various shopping comparison services available today and realized they were all pretty bad. So we realized the best way to serve our customers is to have real people do the comparison work, rather than a computer.

And so, Asyus was born.

What we do

Asyus is a shopping comparison service. We strive to find you the best price for whatever it is you’re looking to buy. You can use us in two ways:

You can enter a specific product (for example, Sony Cybershot DSCW300) and a price that you’ve seen at another store, either online or retail. We will shop around and try to find you a better price.

You can enter a broad category (plasma TV) and the maximum price you want to spend. We will find you the very best product available for that price.

Once we have completed your request we’ll send you a link to your page which will have detailed information about the search result. We’ll send you the result within twenty four hours.

Feel free to click through the link we send you to buy the product. No worries if you don’t want to. There’s no obligation one way or another.

Our difference

With other shopping comparison services, you get back hundreds of results that marginally fit what you’re looking for. Some of the prices will be from non-reputable stores. Sometimes the prices will range between several hundred dollars.

This is because the other companies use a complicated algorithm to search the hundreds of online retailers who they have partnerships with and they send you back all the results.

With Asyus, when you submit a request, one of our expert shoppers takes your specific request and scours the web to find the very best price for you from a reputable store.

We don’t care whether the price we find you is from a store we have a partnership with or not; we just want to save you money. Honestly.

Privacy Information

We respect and value our customers' privacy, and therefore we will never sell or share information that you submit on our site. Here are the answers to some common privacy questions.

What information do you gather?

The only information we have is what you send us. That is, your email address, the product you’re looking for, and the price you want us to research. We also get some information about your approximate zip code.

How do you know my location?

Every computer has a unique identification number called the IP address, which stands for Internet Protocol. When you visit any website, the owner of the website gets your IP address, which has information about the approximate location of the computer. We use that information to determine your estimated tax and shipping costs.
